Lightning Network

PayEngine

Payment Streaming Tool ⚡️

The world of payments is changing. With the Bitcoin Lightning Network ⚡, a new era begins: the era of continuous payments. Discover how PayEngine makes this revolution simple and accessible.

What is PayEngine? 🤔

PayEngine is a SaaS platform that enables your application to process payments through the Lightning Network. Our innovation doesn’t lie in simply offering a payment service, but in the flexibility of configuring those payments. Thanks to the granularity of satoshis (sats), we introduce the concept of Pay Rules: conditional payment rules that define exactly when and how money flows.

Real-World Examples 🎯

Imagine a service that unlocks entirely new monetization models:

  • 🎶 Per minute spent at a music festival
  • 📺 Per second of video streaming (and why not unlock unlimited access once a certain threshold is reached?)
  • 🖼️ Per meter walked inside a museum
  • 🍺 Per centiliter poured from a beer tap in a bar

With such a system, the possibilities for business model innovation are nearly limitless.

This is what we’re building 🚀

With PayEngine, we’re developing conditional payments with unmatched granularity, designed to be developer-friendly:

  • ⚡ Quick and simple integration
  • 📦 Multiple SDKs availables
  • 🔑 A clear and flexible API

Our field of possibilities begins where traditional solutions stop.

Custo NonCusto

Custody or non-custody ?

What’s our choice, and why? 🤔

Discover why PayEngine starts as a custodial solution — and how we’ll give users the choice in the future...

Non-custo is the way but...

As Bitcoiners, we believe in self-sovereignty and non-custodial solutions. But when it comes to building a product that is truly user-friendly and accessible to everyone, a fully non-custodial approach can become a barrier — especially on the Lightning Network.

⚡ That’s why, in order to make PayEngine as accessible as possible, we chose to launch it as a custodial solution.

If custodial services are a no-go for you, we totally understand. But don’t worry: choosing custody first doesn’t mean we won’t add non-custodial support in the future.

👉 Our vision is to let users decide for themselves: custodial or non-custodial.
